Like most companies with a digital presence, Cythral collects information about you. This policy outlines what information is collected, how it is stored and secured, why it is stored, how it is shared, and how to delete it. Cythral strives to be transparent in how your data is handled, and to fully comply with applicable laws and regulations.

What Information is Collected
Cythral may collect the following information:

Why your Information is Collected
And How it is Used
Your browser and generalized geolocation data is collected and stored in order to best tailor content to your needs. For example, if you are using a browser that does not display our website correctly, we need to know which browser you are using in order to fix that. Geolocation data may be used to display different content or advertisements based on what region you are in.
It is necessary to record IP addresses to access logs so that Cythral can prevent misuse of your personal information. Break-in attempts are mitigated by monitoring traffic and blocking IP addresses that attempt to access resources containing your information.
Contact information is collected and stored in order to contact you. Payment information is collected in order to process payments. Information about your project is collected to help expand the Portfolio section of this website, and showcase the skills and abilities of Cythral.
How your Information is Stored and Secured
Your browser and geolocation information is collected and stored by a data processor known as Google Analytics. Information fed to Google Analytics does not expire. Your IP address is stored in an access log, which is destroyed every 30 days. All other information (contact, payment, login and project information) is stored in a secure database. Information stored in our database does not expire.
All transmission of data to and from Cythral websites is encrypted with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. Sensitive information, such as passwords and credit card numbers, are hashed/encrypted prior to being stored.
How your Information is Shared
Portfolio & Social Media
After completion of your project, Cythral may share details about it to the Portfolio section of this website and on social media. If your project is not publicly accessible, or you explicitly request that it not be shared, Cythral will not share details about your project. Such information will never include anything other than your name or organization, and a description of the project. All other information is not shared without your written/explicit consent. Sensitive information is never shared. If you reside in the EU, you will be contacted first, requesting permission to share details of your project.

How to Delete your Information
If you want your information purged from our systems, please fill out the contact form. Cythral will be happy to comply with any request to delete personal information and/or discontinue processing information about you.
Changes to this Policy
Any changes to this policy will be posted to this page.
